John Ebdon's music is visceral and aware, rooted in reality, no frills, no fluff ~ honest and compelling.” - Phil Madeira

“The path along the way.“ That’s how john ebdon describes the kaleidoscope he writes through. With an ethereal approach to sound, combining story with an array of smooth rhythms, there's an intentional spontaneity centering the listener into a seemingly genre-less sonic landscape.

This New York native, a student of all things “Texas Songwriter,” explores “sense of space against toils of age and stage.” Through a modern backdrop, Ebdon bends towards a new creed of Texas Americana-classic.  Visiting relatable, confessional tales in his lyrics, his sense of story has garnished his recognition as a fully fledged Texas songwriter.

“Find a quiet place sometime and listen carefully to John Ebdon’s Charlemagne’s Town. It is most representative of his musical work, a soaring piece that leaves the listener breathless and emotionally spent. Like all of Ebdon’s music, it dives deep and touches a place in the listener’s soul that has collected dust and has, for the most part, been forgotten.” - Articulate.  // Dennis Welch.

We are excited to announce the release of our fourth album “BLUE” in early 2026. The artistic direction and musicianship on this album is stacked top to bottom. With world class hitters, including the return of Phil Keaggy, Phil Madiera (EmmyLou Harris), Scott Mulvahill (Ricky Scaggs, Alison Krauss, Lauren Daigle), Kurt Baumer (Lonestar), and Dennis Holt on drums (Kansas, Hank Williams Jr.), we are confident “BLUE” is our best work to date.
